As a manufacturer and seller of electrical and electronic equipment, ViewCast is particularly aware of the European Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) Directive and is working diligently in its efforts to meet and maintain the orders of the directive.
ViewCast is executing internal efforts to comply with RoHS and is executing external efforts by maintaining communications with, and working with, its suppliers and customers to comply with RoHS.
ViewCast endeavors to protect human health and safety and the environment by controlling the use of certain hazardous substances in new equipment
ViewCast is committed to compliance with the European directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Directive 2002/95/EC, the RoHS directive. Compliance planning by ViewCast is based on conformance to the RoHS Directive issued by the European Union (EU), and not on any specific Member State legislation or legislation from any other countries. ViewCast is monitoring the environmental regulations from the countries in which ViewCast does business and will respond accordingly to maintain compliance.
As of July 1, 2006, products supplied to the EU by ViewCast will comply with the RoHS directive. ViewCast declares that equipment shipped to the EU conforms to the Directive with exceptions employing the Category 3 exemption provided in the Annex of the 2002/95/EC directive.
