This is usually because the generic drivers are in use and not the linux drivers from Osprey (built on the bttv drivers).  To download and install the drivers from Osprey visit the following link:
ftp://ftp.viewcast.com/pub/OSP-200/Linux/latest/

Installation Instructions can be found at:
ftp://ftp.ospreyvideo.com/pub/OSP-200/Linux/latest/INSTALL

I am unable to capture video using an s-video cable on my Osprey 210 while running under linux.  I have gotten it to work in windows, and have gotten composite capture to work in linux.  Has anyone else had this problem?  does anyone else have any suggestions?

Jacob
