ViewCast® Encoding Station A ViewCast� Encoding Station takes live video from a camera, or prerecorded video from a tape or disk, and encodes it for network streaming for either RealNetworks RealSystem G2 System or Microsoft's Windows Media Technology.   The ViewCast� Entry Encoding Station is designed to capture and encode a single video input feed. 

The ViewCast�  Entry Encoding station is scalable to your needs.  As system demand grows, it can be upgraded by adding more Osprey cards to encode additional feeds.

The ViewCast� Entry Encoding station  comes integrated with RealNetworks' RealProducer Plus�  or Microsoft's Windows Media Encoder.

The ViewCast� Entry Encoding Station is a complete system for capturing, encoding and streaming a single video input feed.  It consists of an NT Workstation with one of the following integrated packages:

  • RealNetworks RealProducer Plus with the Osprey Real G2 Hardware Encoder

  • Basic Server Plus or any RealNetworks Server

Microsoft Windows Media
