Dec 13 2000 Release 1.0.3 for the Osprey-500 is now available for download! The Win2000 release package includes an
AVI based capture program called WMCap that allows for audio and video capture to an
extended AVI file format.
Watch for the forthcoming BETA for the 1.0.4 release that will include an enabling of hardware based cropping and a cropping configuration applet. This release also has a significant quality improvement that eliminates horizontal video streaks or tears due to PCI bandwidth issues. July 7, 2000 For Windows Media Encoder Technology v7 Private Beta Testers, the latest build (2962) enables the complete feature set of the Osprey-500 (using the lastest Osprey-500 release v1.0.1). June 30, 2000 The Osprey-500 Pro and Osprey-500 DVPro started shipping the last week of June! The Osprey-500 DV will be available via our e-commerce web site soon to be on-line. The Osprey-500 currently supports NTSC. PAL support is expected in calendar Q3. The latest release for the Osprey-500 can be found at our downloads page. A new beta release of the Osprey-100/200 product line is also available on our ftp site. It includes a bug fix for longevity introduced in the v1.50 drivers for the product. The Osprey-500 software release already supports the Windows Media Encoder v4.1. The latest release also supports the forthcoming public version of the Windows Media Encoder v7.
