The Osprey�-101 video capture kit combines an NTSC desktop video camera with the power and versatility of our popular Osprey-100 video card and includes a power supply for the camera built right onto the board.  Just plug in and you�re live on screen!   Video conference with your coworkers on your corporate network.   See and talk to your friends on the Internet.   Go live with important news or developments.   The possibilities are endless.

The camera included is an NTSC camera, but the video card is compatible with PAL cameras as well. The power supply built onto the Osprey�-101 board only supports the NTSC camera included with the Osprey 101 kit.

The Osprey�-101 offers all the high quality digital video capture features of the Osprey video card line, including a TV-quality 30 fps (frames per second) display of uncompressed video for use with today�s exciting multimedia applications. Perfect for videoconferencing, web cams and Internet/intranet video streaming. The Osprey-101 can even process television-quality video from any standard video source, including cable TV, camcorders, VCRs or digital cameras.

    System Requirements
    Minimum system configuration is a Pentium PC (or workstation) with PCI bus and sound card for audio input. Recommended system has Windows 95 or better 8MByte system memory, or Windows NT 4.0 with 16MBytes system memory and minimum 16-bit depth graphics card supporting Direct Draw.

    Note: The Osprey-101 does not provide audio input. Most platforms already have this capability on a sound card or multimedia sub-system.
