Niagara
SCX allows any Osprey-based streaming video encoder
system to be remotely monitored and controlled across
a network. Niagara SCX is bundled with all Niagara
Streaming Systems.
Osprey
streaming capture cards, featuring RealNetworks and
Windows Media Encoders, can be installed in many systems
and locations throughout an enterprise or across the
Internet. Users with appropriate access privileges can
access and control any or all of the encoders from any
remote location attached to the encoder network. |

offers a fully functional trial version of Niagara SCX software
for you to download and test for 30 days. Note:
SCX is pre-loaded on all Niagara systems. SCX also
works with Osprey cards, but is not available for sale as a
single license. Contact your reseller to inquire about
SCX packaged offerings.

Niagara SCX requires that you have streaming encoder software
installed in your system.

The Niagara SCX SDK is available for developers
who desire to provide its powerful abilities integrated
into their own Niagara-based solutions. The diagram
on the left illustrates the components that comprise
the Niagara SCX SDK and the SCX Explorer Application.
Remote access through Niagara SCX is offered through
a remote Windows software application or via XML.
System integrators and VARs can use the SCX remote network
API's to integrate Osprey-based streaming systems in
custom streaming video and archiving applications. |
