The
Niagara Kits are a combination of ViewCast streaming
hardware coupled with our workflow management and encoder
control software - all the components that you find in our
high-performance Niagara
Streaming Systems.
Designed
for today’s high performance systems, Niagara Kits deliver
professional-level features and functionality, such as PCI-X
compatibility, for best-quality video capture and streaming
results.
Add
these bundled packages to an Intel Pentium or Xeon-powered
desktop or rack-mount PC and you have created a high-performance
streaming workstation!
The
Niagara Kit includes:
 Osprey
Video high-performance streaming capture card -
The Osprey brand is the critically-acclaim standard for
streaming capture cards around the world! Your Niagara Kit
will include either an analog A/V input Osprey card or an
analog and digital A/V input Osprey card. Two-channel A/V
kits are also available which include an additional Osprey
card plus A/V input rack panel with inputs for both Osprey
cards.
 Niagara
SCX - Stream Control eXtension. A powerful software
package that provides the ability to control multiple encoders
from a single interface PLUS remote encoder control
from any networked PC including laptops! Full access is
provided to view and set encoding parameters, start and
stop the encoding process, and receive notification of identified
error conditions! Using the Niagara SCX allows you the freedom
to manage several encoders and encoding sessions from any
networked location!
 SimulStream
- multi-streaming power in a single encoding session. This
software module allows multiple bit rate and multiple format
streaming simultaneously from a single video and audio source!
SimulStream is designed to provide the optimized experience
of providing the appropriate file format and video resolution
for each client viewing the video. Plus SimulStream will
streamline your workflow since in one pass you can generate
many streams instead of having to run multiple sessions,
one after another. SimulStream provides the best of both
with multiple formats to multiple audiences with minimal
hardware and CPU impact. SimulStream is an absolute must
for multi-streaming!

Rack-mount Break-out Panel - Niagara Kits include
breakout cables for A/V inputs and outputs. However if you
purchase the rack panel bundle option, the Niagara Kit will
provide one additional Osprey card plus the ViewCast rack
mount break-out panel in lieu of cables. This bundled option
provides the ability to build a dual A/V channel streaming
system for capturing video and audio from two A/V sources
at the same time.
There
are four different Niagara Kit bundles to choose from. We
offer two analog A/V input packages (single or dual channel
kits) and two analog/digital A/V input packages (single or
dual channel kits).
