New Media AV Becomes Distributor for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe

Relationship Strengthens ViewCast’s Presence in Growing European Streaming Video Market

PLANO, Texas — April 15, 2009 — ViewCast Corporation (OTCBB: VCST), a developer of industry-leading hardware and software for the transformation, management and delivery of professional-quality video over IP and mobile networks, today announced that Germany’s New Media AV will serve as the company’s distributor for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe— a region that is demonstrating heavy adoption of streaming video. In this role, New Media AV will support over 300 ViewCast resellers with localized logistics, pre- and post-sale support, next-day delivery of product, 24-hour online ordering, and specialized AV solutions to accelerate market traction for ViewCast’s Niagara® encoders, Osprey® video capture cards and streaming software solutions.
