On June 30th, with strong pre-orders the first GoStream came off the line at the ViewCast factory in Farmer's Branch Texas The first of its kind, Niagara� GoStream is a portable, streaming encoding appliance designed to make capturing and streaming video a simple and easy to use process. This single channel encoder is designed to be used by the most novice of users and features three -EZStream� buttons that allow users to select from pre-defined encoding profiles.The GoStream's appliance-like design and set-up to streaming can be achieved through the front panel Additionally, with pre-defined encoding profiles the control menu provides an intuitive, easy-to-use system that allows users to access system status, setup IP network connections. The included SCX software features a new web-based user interface and supports encoding formats such as WindowsMedia�, RealVideo�, and Flash. GoStream also offers the capability to be powered by battery and wireless connectivity. This gives the user the ability to stream from the field. Meet Laurie Latham, CFO of ViewCast. MS. LATHAM has served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration of ViewCast since December 1999. From 1997 until she joined ViewCast, Ms. Latham served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Perivox Corporation, an interactive communications and direct marketing company. From 1994 through 1997, she was the Vice President of Finance and Administration at Axis Media Corporation. Prior to joining Axis Media Corporation, Ms. Latham had been in public practice with national and regional accounting firms, including KPMG Peat Marwick, and was the Vice President of Finance and Administration for Medialink International Corporation, a food industry technology company located in California. In addition, Ms. Latham's earlier career experience included roles within the oil and gas, real estate and agricultural industries.
