The first of its kind, the new Niagara GoStream is a portable, lightweight, easy-to-use streaming encoding appliance.

GoStream makes streaming and capturing video for Internet video distribution as easy as the push of a couple of buttons. GoStream provides high-quality IP video resolution for applications in education, enterprise, religion, as well as broadcast. GoStream makes streaming video content via the Internet easy for professionals and novices alike.

With its appliance-like design, intuitive front panel and EASE control menus, streaming set-up is quick and easy.  And with pre-defined encoding profiles, streaming begins with the push of a button. This portable unit gives the user the flexibility to be mobile -- but with the optional Dual Dock, it has the power of a rack-mount unit. 

When used with the included Niagara SCX® 5.0 software, GoStream can create files in the following formats:

  • MPEG-4/H.264
  • MPEG-2
  • Windows Media®
  • RealVideo®
  • AVI
  • Flash

GoStream’s wireless capability, combined with optional backpack and battery packs, allow you to stream wire-free.

Learn About Niagara SCX 5.0

SCX software offers remote control and monitoring of multiple, remote, or distributed Niagara streaming video encoders throughout an Enterprise or across the Internet. SCX 5.0 is included with all Niagara systems and is compatible with all ViewCast Osprey® video capture cards.

Full Remote Control!

SCX allows users to view and set encoding parameters, start and stop the encoding process, and receive notification of identified error conditions. Up to 50 encoders can be controlled from a single station.
