The Release Notes contain important information about changes in the documentation. It is highly recommended that you follow the instructions in the Osprey-50 USB User's Guide. First, you'll need to connect the Osprey-50USB device. This is described in Chapter Two of the Osprey-50 USB User's Guide. Then you'll install the drivers for the device. This is described in Chapter Two of the Osprey-50 USB User's Guide. The drivers make sure that the system can talk to the device to capture video. For devices made after January 2003, you will need to install the Osprey-50 USB Update. It is best to run the update directly after installing the drivers. If prompted to reboot after installing the drivers, do not do so until after the installation of the update is complete. Then you'll need to install the software packages: RealProducer, RealPlayer, Windows Media Encoder, and Windows Media Player. CD Autorun --------------- The Installation CD should automatically display an autorun menu after you insert it in your CDROM drive. If you have autorun disabled, you will need to go to the D:\autorun directory (where D: is your CDROM drive, substitute the proper drive name if necessary) and run "autorun.exe" to start the menu. After a reboot or power up, if the CD is in the drive, it will NOT autorun. You can simply eject the CD and then reinsert it to get the autorun menu, or you can run "autorun.exe" as described above.
