Osprey Technologies Osprey-1000 Audio/Video Capture/Compression/Decompression Board Windows Release 2.60 x86 Video Capture Driver Patch (oti1kvc.dll) 08/98 Patch Notes: ============ This patch fixes a bug in H.261 parsing discovered by Lucent Technologies. It was generating the wrong MQUANT and motion vector info. This has been corrected. This patch also provides a new feature, the MMAC_OVERLAY_DELAY_SET message. This message has been added to the Video Capture driver to allow the user to set the Overlay Refresh value. This value is stored in the registry as: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Osprey\Osprey1000\Device0\VcDll\User\OverlayDelay This is a subfunction of the MMAC_O1K_CONFIGURE driver message. It accepts 1 parameter (the lParam2) as the new value of the Overlay Frame Rate. It (unlike the other control panel mods) will use the new value immediately and adjust the value in the registry shown via the Osprey-1000 Video Capture Settings dialog. Patch Installation: =================== Make sure you have shut down all Osprey demos and other applications that may be using the Osprey-1000 board. You need to have Release 2.60 installed. If it is not installed, you may download it from our web page, www.mmac.com, by following the links to Support -> Downloads and downloading the latest software for the Osprey-1x00. Install the patch by running the program patchvc.exe. You must reboot after installation in order for the patch to take affect.
