I'm attempting to capture A/V to MPEG4 but keep getting random popping in the audio track. I do not get this problem while using any other codec.

I've tried from both hardware audio inputs, XLR and RCA with no difference. I've tried capturing footage from different sources (live from camera, Beta, DV.) I've tried changing the Audio format/type/encoder/bit rate with no success.

I would think it has something do do with this particular codec, not a hardware setup issue since the other codec audio turns out fine.

Driving me crazy since I would like to capture in MPEG.
