Has anyone had any trouble after using the December 2002 install CD for Osprey 210/220 cards? After the first install, it didn't work because all the files were missing. Weird. We reinstalled the Osprey drivers and got video working.
Then things really went south. As I'm typing in code into Visual Studio 6 (C++), the IDE just disappears. I ran VS6 again and it wouldn't compile because VCSPAWN.EXE was deleted! And all my macros were deleted as well.
After reinstalling VS6 and sp5 today, I'm happily typing in VS6 again when all of a sudden the program that I'm working on was spawned 8 times mysteriously. A scan for viruses found none.
Since the last thing I installed were the Osprey drivers, I'm wondering if anyone has encountered similar weirdness. My suspicion is an InstallShield macro gone awry.
