I have purchased an Osprey 100, and also want to use it with Pinnacle Studio 8. What did you need to do to get this working?

Just an FYI the new beta Directshow drivers fix the problem that I was having with Pinnacle Studio 8 and the Osprey 200.

Yes, (personally I don't really care about directshow drivers I just want to be able to capture in PS8) Right now when I do a capture the drop down to select the capture source just brings up the DV source not the Osprey source. (Of course every other capture program seems to see both the DV and Osprey source. (Show Biz and Windows Movie Maker) If you have any hints/ideas please let me know.

I will try to get on the beta.

Yes we have native DirectShow drivers in development. I would have expected that the "mapper" from DirectShow to our existing VFW drivers would have worked fine with DirectShow based applications. Are you having a problem with PS8 with our VFW drivers?

As for releasing DShow drivers the 1xx/2xx family will be first followed by the 5xx family. If you're interested in the beta 2 program for the 1xx/2xx family please send an email to [email protected] with your interest and they will see about signing you up.

Are there any plans to release directshow drivers? I would like to use your card with Pinnacle Studio 8. Which I believe only supports the directshow (not VFW) API.
