VIEWPOINT VBX� SYSTEM INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TRAINING VERSION 2.3

This course is designed for the Installers and Administrators of Viewpoint VBX� systems. The purpose of the course is to prepare the participants to pass the VBX Technician Certification examination. The course runs for three days and exhaustively covers all facets of the construction, installation and maintenance of a VBX system.

Course participants must already have:
  • basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking;

  • working knowledge of all Windows operating systems: NT, 98 and 95;

  • good skills for configuring and installing PC-based hardware and software;

  • strong trouble-shooting skills.

The class is limited to 9 participants and is scheduled monthly.

Certification Exam

At the conclusion of the course, the students will be given the Viewpoint VBX� Technician Certification Examination. This exam is a comprehensive test of the information presented in class. To become a certified installer of the VBX System, the student must pass the exam with a minimum score of 80%. Only certified technicians are authorized to maintain the Viewpoint VBX system under the Business Partner/Reseller Agreement

If the student does not pass the exam on the first try, one retry is provided at no charge within 30 days of attending training. If 30 days pass without retaking and passing the exam, the student must attend training again and pay the required fee for the course.
