The Osprey-100 does not need to support audio capture or playback because these are handled by your standard sound card. The Osprey-100 works great with RealVideo, Windows Media Technologies, Adobe Premiere, NetMeeting, or any other application using uncompressed video, where synchronization between audio and video is handled by the software and not the hardware.
