A ViewCast� Encoding Station takes live video from a camera, or pre-recorded video from a tape or disk, and encodes it for streaming in either RealNetworks RealSystem G2 System. The ViewCast Power Encoding Station is designed to capture and encode multiple video input feeds on a single NT workstation. With the Power Encoding Station, your broadcasts can be seen by viewers connected at many different bandwidths, such as 28.8Kbps, 56Kbps or 128Kbps (ISDN) or higher, all produced by one system, not three. ViewCast Encoding stations use the industry's most popular streaming video encoding software from RealNetworks. The RealNetworks RealSystem G2 Power Encoding station is configured to encode three live video feeds using three Osprey�-1000 Real G2 codecs and three instances of RealProducer Plus. It can be upgraded for a fourth feed. |
