This unique product provides a video networking solution designed to be a "Gateway" between dissimilar networks bridging different video networking standards.

VBX Gateway Distance Learning Application

A distance learning classroom built just five years ago probably has an H.320 standard based conferencing system allowing it to interact with other H.320 based classrooms. A classroom built this year may use a newer MPEG standard based conference system and interact with other MPEG based classrooms. Since these classroom communication systems use different standards, they cannot directly communicate with one another.

The Viewpoint VBX™ Video Gateway solves this problem. It has the ability to connect with (bridge) both networks thus allowing the classrooms to communicate.

The Viewpoint VBX™ Enterprise System can also be added to provide economical video distribution for the school campus or corporate office.
