Osprey products have long been dominant capture cards

to an AVI file. This limited the market for the Osprey-500,
as some content-creation workflow environments utilize
other applications for preprocessing, editing, and conversion
to different streaming and archive formats.
This
updated driver makes the Osprey-500 streaming neutral
giving you the ability to use the Osprey-500 with a broader
range of software applications - including Windows Media
Encoder, RealNetworks' RealSystem Producer, Adobe Premier
6.0, Media 100's Cleaner 5, Sorenson Broadcaster and other
leading applications - as well as streaming directly to
Windows Media and Real formats.
