ViewCast Demonstrates New Products and Services, Introduces Rebate Plan

DALLAS (June 20, 2001) –ViewCast Corporation (NASDAQ: VCST), a leading provider of Internet and networked video solutions, will demonstrate its industry-leading streaming products and services and introduce a new rebate program June 20-22 at Streaming Media West 2001 in Long Beach, Calif.

ViewCast is demonstrating the high-quality MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video capture capabilities of its new Osprey�-2000 capture card, and the new portable and rack-mountable Niagara� Streaming Systems. The company�s ViewCast Online division will demonstrate EZStream software and services that enable businesses to capture, edit, encode, publish, host and deliver streaming video/rich media content on corporate Web sites. With EZStream, communicating via video online is as easy as click, create and view.

In addition, the company has announced a dynamic new rebate program

Through Aug. 31, 2001, ViewCast offers rebates of up to $200 to customers who purchase any Osprey-500 series of digital capture cards. In addition, customers who trade in analog capture cards can get an additional rebate of $50 on selected Osprey-500 models. Osprey-500 professional cards provide digital inputs for high-quality video capture to Windows Media streaming format.

ViewCast is also offering a rebate on its Niagara systems. A $200 rebate is available to customers that purchase Niagara Streaming Systems configured with the Osprey-500 DV Pro. Trade in your old capture card and get an additional $50 rebate. To qualify for either, customers must register their product online and download and mail in a rebate form.
