Is it possible to replace the Windows XP Pro on a Niagara Pro System with Windows server 2003 ?

Rather than use a separate server on our Lan system the question was asked if the Niagara Pro could be made to function as an encoder and server.

It is possible to specify 2003 as an option on Standard Niagaras (not the PSPro or GoStream) at the time of purchase but not after the event. Normally it is not recommended to operate an encoder also as a server as the two are very different functions and one process can compromise the other if run on the same machine.

Thanks for the quick response.

I thought that would be the answer.

No issues though, just needed to confirm.
