--First, I'm completely new to this in terms of the connection part.--

I just hooked up a Osprey 50 to my laptop and my Panasonic DVR. I work for a website that has licensing options on some cable programming and I'm grabbing some snippets for our site.

I have a Sony Wega and was going to hook into that but it was an output. So we went to the DVD and got FTM cords to we could plug them in to the S video and Digital Audio.

I can get video just fine in AMCAP as well as Encoder but I can't get any audio.

HELP! I've reinstalled the drivers. The audio profile on the Dell says the device is fine.

Thanks!

OK, just a short note.

I see this doesn't do audio according to the faq in support. I called Osprey about this scenario as well as Paradise Software.  I told both of them the exact specs I needed and both told me audio would be no problem.

So does anyone have any ideas about how to use my system microphone to get sound - without it sounding like crap?
