The 64 bit drivers are about to enter the Beta testing phase. Once the program has been set up a link to a webpage will be posted.

I am dying to get 64-bit drivers for my Osprey 220 card.  I talked to someone from support at Viewcast about 18 months ago and was told they were in development.  If a beta release is to be available soon, I'll test the heck out of it!

Heh, you can tell by the number of views this thread has gotten to tell there is a lot of interest in this.

Currently there is a problem with the 64-bit installer from Microsoft that has put the brakes on a full beta release going public. Apparently Microsoft are aware of it and are working the issue.

Hi,

We recently bought Osprey 230 and have a system with windows XP (64bit).

We cannot use it as no driver is avaiable on site. When is it likely to be released.

We have 6 Osprey-440s and need to run them on 64bit AMD systems.  We are using xp 64 pro.  WHEN can we get the beta version?  We need an answer on this ASAP.

I would not be suprised if they skip a driver release for Win XP x64 and only produce drivers for Win Vista x86 and x64.

I found the beta 64 drivers here:

ftp://ftp.viewcast.com/pub/Beta/X64%20Drivers

They are still "debugging the 64bit MS installer" but the readme tells how to do the install by hand.  The performace of the drivers is ok but not great.

Enjoy.

Thankyou so much for this post. It has saved me for moving to a 32bit OS on a 64 bit system. And I was not too confident what we will get into.

And yes, at least this driver is usable.

Thankyou
