Hi,

I'm new to this so please excuse me if I am missing something obvious here.

On a few occasions I have found that after starting SCX explorer, some or all of my previously configured encoders appear with red 'X's through them and that they have lost most of their corresponding configuration tabs.

These are encoders which have been configured and tested in a previous session, so not ones which haven't got allocated video sources as suggested in part of the supplied documentation.

The only way I have fund to restore the encodrs is by deleting and creating new ones. This is starting to get tedious as each time this happens I have to create, name and configure the settings for each of the encoders.

When they all disappear, I thought perhaps that there was something up with the source from the Osprey 560, however this appeared to be working fine, and I could get a video stream in amcap. The stream is also obviously there when creating the new encoder as well. This wouldn't however explain only some of the encoders being 'X'd out, unless it was something to do with simulstream not behaving.

Dave

Hello. I`ve got the same problem. I have two Osp-230 & Osp-210 in a computer. Everything works fine, but sometimes encoders marks by "X".

I can`t understand after which my action it happens. Help us, please.

Also i`ve found the next thing:

When i start SCX Encoder Explorer I see that there is a connection of "Administrator" (I connected as Login:Administrator and a password). Also I see my encoders, their names are "Osp-210", "Osp-230_1", "Osp-230_2".

It works fine, but wnen the encoders fail to work and mark by "X" I see more connections. There is Administrator and there is three or sometimes six connections, there names are "Administrator-Osp-210", "Administrator-Osp-230_1" and "Administrator-Osp-230_2". As you see the names of this aditional connections consist of two parts - the name of my connection and the name of my encoders.

After this encoder or all of them stop working.  I think the problem is somewhere here.
