ViewCast.com Announces Third Quarter Results

Dallas, Texas, October 28, 1999 � ViewCast.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCST), a leading provider of Internet and intranet streaming media solutions and enterprise real-time video distribution solutions, today reported its financial results for its third quarter ended September 30, 1999.

Third quarter revenues of just over $1.0 million were down from $2.2 million reported during the second quarter of 1999, and down from $2.6 million reported during the third quarter of 1998. Net loss for the third quarter was $2.6 million, compared to a net loss of $1.7 million reported in the previous quarter and a loss of $1.8 million reported during the third quarter of 1998. Basic and diluted net loss per share for the third quarter was ($0.21) compared to ($0.15) for the quarter ended June 30, 1999 and ($.20) for the quarter ended September 30, 1998.
