ViewCast.com Expands Distribution Agreement with RealNetworks
RealNetworks Products Bundled With ViewCast™ Systems And Osprey™ Cards Worldwide
Dallas, Texas, July 12, 1999 - ViewCast.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:VCST), a leading provider of Internet video solutions, today announced that it has renewed and expanded its distribution agreement with RealNetworks, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNWK). Based on the new agreement, ViewCast.com will continue to bundle RealNetworks� products with ViewCast� Streaming Media Systems and Osprey� video capture cards and codecs for another year. In addition, ViewCast.com will now be able to provide these products worldwide through its US and international channel partners.

With the new Osprey G2 Hardware Encoder, ViewCast Encoding Stations offer features and performance no other system can match – encoding up to six live video feeds in a single Windows NT workstation.
ViewCast.com's products have long been associated with RealNetworks software. The Osprey-100, recognized as the streaming media industry's de facto standard video capture card, is widely used by RealNetworks customers and is the only card RealNetworks bundles with its server products. In the past year, ViewCast.com introduced ViewCast Streaming Media Systems; turnkey solutions that feature RealNetworks' products and make it easy for users to put streaming media on a network or web site. And, most recently, ViewCast.com introduced the Osprey-1000/G2 - the only hardware based encoding solution for encoding RealVideo�.
