[Nasdaq:VCST], a leading provider of Internet video communication solutions, will demonstrate its latest products and expanded capabilities at the grand opening of its new Wall Street Demonstration Center, on June 28, 1999. The facility is located at Hanover Square in the heart of New York City’s financial district. Senior executives from ViewCast.com, the Bank of Boston and Virage, Inc. will be on hand at the grand opening to review the benefits of the company’s products and capabilities.

ViewCast.com is realizing success with both its Internet streaming and video distribution and communication solutions within the financial community. Bank of Boston recently chose ViewCast.com as its video communications solutions provider.

"We chose ViewCast.com’s video products to make sure our senior executives, traders and telecommuters have access to reliable, easy to use video conferencing solutions. The suite of ViewCast.com’s products are ideal for any financial institution that is looking to take advantage of video in their corporate communication strategy," said Michael Montague, Sr. Manager for Technology Global Capital Markets at the Bank of Boston.

The Demo Center will allow customers and members of the financial community an opportunity to see the recently announced ViewCast Video Encoder/Logger – the only complete, single system solution for encoding, streaming and automatically cataloging video and audio content. The system, which features RealNetworks RealSystem G2 products combined with the Virage VideoLogger™ and AudioLogger™ creates both network streaming media and a fully searchable index.

This integrated ViewCast solution substantially increases the value of a firm’s media assets by making it possible for members of an enterprise to easily find and access the video and audio information they need, all using familiar web-based tools.

"Virage and ViewCast.com have partnered to provide turnkey solutions to catalog and search video for a variety of markets.," said Paul Lego, CEO of Virage. "With ViewCast.com’s New York demo center, the financial community will be able to see the many benefits of searchable media first hand. We're confident that the response will be outstanding." Virage is the leading developer of video cataloging and search products and recently announced an alliance with ViewCast.com.

At the New York Demonstration Center, ViewCast.com will unveil a new system design architected specifically for the financial market. Based on the company’s Viewpoint VBX the new system enables brokers to view on-demand, broadcast-quality video sources, including broadcast and satellite feeds. This allows brokers to monitor, from their desktops, the latest news from sources such as CNN, C-SPAN, MS-NBC and Bloomberg Business News.

ViewCast.com will also demonstrate its products at Steaming Media East '99 in New York, June 29-30. At the show, ViewCast.com, will demonstrate the latest streaming video solutions, featuring both Microsoft’s Windows Media Technologies and RealNetworks G2 System.
