Viewcast Nominates David Tucker to the Board of Directors
DALLAS (Aug. 22, 2000) � Viewcast, Inc. (NASDAQ: VCST), a leading provider of Internet and networked video solutions, today announced David C. Tucker, director and general manager of the Enterprise Voice Business Unit for Cisco Systems, has accepted the nomination to the company�s board of directors.
Mr. Tucker is a sales and marketing veteran with extensive telecommunications and technical expertise. In his current position at Cisco Systems� Enterprise Voice Business Unit he directs the development and marketing of consolidated IP networks for voice, data and video communications.

Mr. Tucker joined Cisco in November 1998 upon the acquisition of Selius Systems where he was president & CEO. Prior to joining Selsius, he served as director of marketing for Intecom. Additional career highlights include general manager of Incite, leading a team to create a voice and video PBX platform, and director of strategic marketing at Shared Resource Exchange Inc. He also held professional positions with ROLM, AT&T and Southwestern Bell. Mr. Tucker received a BBA and MBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University.
