Viewcast Announces the Resignation of Glenn Norem from the Board of Directors

Dallas, Texas, (April 26, 2000) � Viewcast, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCST), a leading provider of Internet and networked video solutions, today announced the chairman of the board, Mr. H. T. Ardinger, had accepted the resignation of Glenn A. Norem to serve as a director. His resignation was effective April 25, 2000.

Mr. Norem, co-founder of Viewcast, has been a director of the company since its inception in February 1994 and previously held the position of CEO. He was instrumental in the company�s development from a high tech start-up to an integrated video solutions company. Mr. Norem leaves to dedicate more time to his other business activities and interests. He is the founder and CEO of eeParts.com headquartered in Dallas and serves on several boards in the Dallas business community precluding his active participation as a board member.
