Viewcast Streaming Video Solutions in Multiple Locations at Las Vegas Convention

DALLAS (April 10, 2000) � Viewcast, Inc. (NASDAQ: VCST), a leading provider of Internet and networked video solutions, will be showcasing its products and solutions for streaming media and Internet video at the National Association of Broadcasters Convention (NAB2000) in Las Vegas, April 10-13. NAB2000 is the most extensive broadcast-related symposium and trade fair in the world.

Viewcast will demonstrate its latest products/upgrades in the Osprey line at the Viewcast Booth (#MI728, Sands), including the new Osprey-2000M, which provides high-quality MPEG2 video and MPEG1 video and audio to network video applications such as streaming video on corporate intranets.

Viewcast will also be in the RealNetworks Booth (#7439, Sands) where it will demonstrate its recently announced Linux-based ViewCast system as well as its consumer Internet/video product, "Your Video on the Web."

In addition, Viewcast will be in Microsoft�s Windows Media Booth (#S5825, Sands), where the company will have a presentation on Monday in the Microsoft theater demonstrating the latest capabilities of the Osprey product line oriented toward professional broadcasters using Windows Media.

ViewCast solutions, in conjunction with CastPro.com, will play a role in webcasting news and interviews from NAB2000. CastPro.com mobile units will produce and webcast live four times each day from various remote locations around Las Vegas. The units combine top-of-the-line production equipment and ViewCast� professional rack-mounted encoding systems and multiple streaming solutions.
