Viewcast Reorganizes Sales Division
New Organization Provides Market Focus in North America and International Markets
DALLAS (April 3, 2000) � Viewcast, Inc. (NASDAQ: VCST), a leading provider of Internet and networked video solutions, announced a reorganization in its sales division designed to provide a better market focus on all of the company�s lines of business. The reorganization is effective April 1.
Ken Brandt, formerly vice president of channel sales, is now the vice president of North American sales. He is responsible for all component and system sales in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Reporting to Brandt are Osprey Program Manager - West Holly Reed, Osprey Program Manager - East Darlene Dawson, and Assistant to the Vice President of Sales Kathy Stiffler. They have responsibility for the OEM and Master Board distributors business. Brandt will be adding another resource in this area and creating a Central Region for this business. Viewcast regional sales managers, responsible for the establishment and support of the Systems (ViewCast Streaming & Viewpoint VBX) Reseller Channel, also report to Brandt.
Bill Keever, formerly vice president of channel sales and marketing, is now the vice president of international sales. He has responsibility for all component and system sales in Europe and the Pacific Rim. Reporting to Keever are Peter Taylor and Martin Finlayson (Europe) and David Zovod (Pacific Rim). Keever will be adding additional sales resources in Europe.

Brandt joined Viewcast in 1995. Prior to joining Viewcast, Brandt was a founder and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cadnetix Corporation, a developer of ECAD workstations. He also held the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Analytix Incorporated, a hedge fund investment company that he co-founded. Brandt, who started his career as a computer design engineer for E-Systems, has 25 years in sales and sales management.
Keever has been with Viewcast since 1998. He came to Viewcast from MCI, where he was Senior Manager for Marketing for the Western United States. Keever has served as the President of the Board of Education Dallas Public Schools between 1992 and 1996; as a member of the former Texas Gov. Bill Clements� staff; as Chairman of Youth, Children and Family Services; and as Chairman, Business for Dallas Schools. He is currently serving or has served as a board member of Children's Defense Fund, the Dallas Public schools and the National Board of Urban Schools.
