Viewcast Forms Partnership with German Systems Integrator MVC

MVC, Viewcast will Demonstrate Video Solution at CEBIT

DALLAS (Feb. 16, 2000) �Viewcast, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCST), a leading provider of Internet and networked video solutions, today announced that it has entered into a reseller distribution agreement with Frankfurt-based MVC, one of Germany�s largest distributors and integrators of video conference systems and services. The agreement increases Viewcast�s presence in the European market and provides MVC with Viewcast�s versatile network video solutions.

Viewcast and MVC will demonstrate the Viewpoint VBX� video conferencing and distribution system, complete with scalable video streaming technology, at the CEBIT show � Hall 14, Stand H64 � beginning Feb. 24 in Germany.

The Viewcast Viewpoint VBX provides a flexible video PBX architecture that video-enables hundreds of desktops throughout an enterprise. Practically every telephony and networking protocol is supported through the Viewpoint VBX� system�s codec array, including H.323 via an IP network, H.320 over ISDN lines and H.324 over analog phone lines. The system also features broadcast-quality MPEG compression.
