HYDROACTIVE.COM, Multimedia Access Corporation and Digital Broadcast Network Plan Live Internet Broadcast of President Clinton's Speech in Newport, RI on December 3rd
Newport, Rhode Island (December 2, 1998) HydroActiveSM - the WatervisionSM Network, in conjunction with MultiMedia Access Corporation (NASDAQ:MMAC) and Digital Broadcast Network, will broadcast President Clinton's speech from Fort Adams on Thursday December 3, 1998 - live over the Internet. The live streaming will begin at around 11AM EST, with the President expected to take the stand at approximately 11:50AM. This event will be shown at www.hydroactive.com, www.dbn.net, as well as www.nbc10wjar.com and will remain on HydroActive's site for on-demand viewing.
During the speech, the President will unveil new regulations to help rid drinking water of harmful microbes and address health risks posed by disinfectants such as chlorine. "Clean water is very important to Save The Bay, whether it is for drinking, swimming or fishing.
